Our Walnut Charcuterie Boards are versatile, used as an Extra Large Charcuterie Board with plenty of space for large charcuterie spreads, or a Live Edge Table Center Piece. These Black Walnut Charcuterie Boards are entirely smooth, knots and checks are filled with epoxy, sanded to 320 grit, saturated in food-grade mineral oil with Odies Food-Grade Penetrating Oil applied for a deep oil/moisture barrier that protects the wood and helps to minimize bacterial contamination.
Our Black Walnut Charcuterie Board is a solid cross-cut slab that’s oval in shape consisting of three trunks with dark coffee-brown heartwood and grain that tell the story of the tree it came from. The board thickness provides an eye catching rustic natural edge giving it a hefty form and a ton of organic appeal. Choose a small or Large Charcuterie Board with sizes up to 62”W. BOARD CONSTRUCTION – Triple Cross-Cut Black Walnut End-grain Wood Slab / air-dried for 1 yr. then kiln-dried. The dried board is de-barked with knots and checks filled, fine-sanded to 320-grit and saturated in food-grade mineral oil, finished with 2 applications of Odies Food-Grade Penetrating Oil that establishes a deep oil/moisture barrier protecting the wood resulting in a smooth textured surface.
