This Custom Floating Shelf is constructed of a solid Sugar Maple wood slab with uniform grain and color. Small knots and splits are filled with epoxy then sanded maintaining a smooth surface. The flat edge reveals a beautiful edge grain adding to the shelfs character helping to make it an eye-catching décor accent. 

We never use glued boards, veneer particle board or manufactured boxes for our shelves.

Our flawless Catalyzed Conversion Varnish (CCV) Finish makes a big difference. CCV is permanent, does not require reapplication and resists scratches and water marks. Additionally, it enhances wood character and color and leaves a satin smooth textured surface. CCV is a premium finish that results in an heirloom quality Wood Floating Shelf.
