Take your meat carving to a new level with our solid Sugar Maple Slicer Carving Board – a solid single piece of Pennsylvania Sugar Maple that’s 2.25” and not glued-up pieces of wood. The Slicer delivers superior stability, so it won’t slide around on the counter and is comfortable to work on. Our Slicers are reversible, with a wide juice groove on one side; flip the board over, and you have a spacious, flat cutting surface for everything from meal prep to serving a big charcuterie spread.

Yes, the Sugar Maple Slicer is beautiful and full of natural appeal, but it’s also durable and long-lasting. Our 2.25” board thickness adds weight, which increases stability and is essential to reducing the chance of warping. Recessed finger grooves make it easy to maneuver the board from counter to table. Hard Maple, with its favorable hardness of 1,450 lbf (Janka), is easy on knife edges yet durable. Additionally, Sugar Maple’s natural antibacterial tannins work against foodborne pathogens (salmonella & E. coli) which make it a safe choice for making premium cutting boards.

Each board is cured with Odie’s All-Natural Penetrating Oil, which establishes a deep, protective moisture barrier, leaving a buttery-smooth surface. Please note that wood color and grain variations exist within individual wood species.
