The Classic Series Cutting Board is a one-piece solid cherry cutting board that’s 2.25” thick. Heavier than thinner boards, these custom cutting boards are stable on the counter and more comfortable to work on. Made from a thick cherry wood slab we cut and dried for 2 years, these cutting boards reveal rich reddish-brown color tones that darken over time. Cherry’s tight grain, with occasional small knots and gum streaks, adds character to the board, bringing a natural element to any kitchen.

Our minimum 2” board thickness reduces the chance of warping. These boards are reversible, with two flat cutting surfaces, and work well in smaller spaces. The wide board edge allows it to stand on edge against the counter backsplash for all to see.
Cherry, with its favorable hardness of 950 lbf (Janka), is easy on knife edges yet durable and long-lasting. Natural antibacterial tannins in wild cherry wood work against foodborne pathogens (Salmonella, E. coli), making it a safe choice for making premium cutting boards.
Each board is cured with Odies all-natural penetrating oil, which establishes a deep, protective moisture barrier and leaves a buttery-smooth surface. Please note that wood color and grain variations exist within individual wood species.
