BOARD DESCRIPTION: Our English Walnut Tri Cross Cut Charcuterie Boards have an irregular shape with a thickness and color making for a one-of-a-kind presentation. Use these boards for charcuterie or as a grazing board - also as a table or kitchen island centerpiece.

Our Live-Edge Walnut Cross-Cut Boards are a solid crosscut (end-grain) wood slab - a wood slice from a log. From the tree’s pith and early year growth rings through the heartwood and sapwood the entire story of the tree's life is told. 

These special boards are air dried for two years until kiln dried, planed, and sanded. Each board has its bark removed and sapwood lightly sanded – larger cracks are filled with an epoxy which adds to the wood's solidness while making the board more sanitary and suitable for serving food. The finished result are smooth board faces and edges. Each board is cured with food-grade mineral oil and Odies Penetrating oil.       

BOARD CARE: ZimBOARD Cutting Boards are solid single piece cutting boards and therefore require simple routine maintenance. Boards should be stored on edge allowing for uniform exposure to the surrounding atmosphere and oiled using a food grade mineral oil or cutting board conditioner.
