Our Classic Series Thick Wood Cutting Board is a solid 2” thick single-plank board – a solid piece of Pennsylvania Cherry, Walnut or Hard Maple. These are the 3 most preferred hardwoods used to make the Best Wood Cutting Boards. Cherry, Walnut and Hard Maple are closed-grain non-porous hardwoods that resist liquid absorbing into the wood fibers and helping to minimize bacteria contamination.

This Cherry Cutting Board is multi-functional yet simple, it’s plain but so beautiful. Black Cherry with its texture and warm reddish-brown heartwood with a hardness of (1450 lbf. Janka Scale) make it easy on knife edges yet tough enough long lasting.
