ZimBOARD Live Edge Black Walnut “CARVER” Cutting Board
Our “Carver” Carve & Serve Cutting Board was created for entertaining and whether you’re serving a standing rib roast or a roasted turkey, the Carver Board complements your delicious creations making for an awesome presentation. The reversible design features a scalloped juice pocket on one side of the board with a flat cutting surface on the opposite.
Use XLarge Carvers for large cuts of beef like standing rib roasts or smoked beef brisket - plenty of room for carving and serving. Large and Medium sized boards use for smaller beef, pork cuts or poultry.
Our 2”+ board thickness increases sturdiness making for a board that’s comfortable to cut on – preferred non-porous closed grain hardwood that minimizes liquid absorption and bacteria contamination with an ideal hardness that’s easiest on cutlery edges. Routed finger grooves allow for easy maneuvering around the kitchen or table. Store the CARVER on edge against a counter backsplash for an amazing décor accent.
The Flat-Edge Carver features flat edges that are wide and reveal beautiful color and grain - flat surfaces and straight lines reveal a modern style.
WOOD: Our Pennsylvania Black Walnut has variations of color that span from purplish hues to a rich coffee brown and contrasted by a creamy white sapwood. Walnut also has extraordinary swirling grain patterns with sound tight knots adding to the woods character.
BOARD CARE: ZimBOARD Cutting Boards are solid single piece cutting boards and therefore require simple routine maintenance. Boards should be stored on edge allowing for uniform exposure to the surrounding atmosphere and oiled using a food grade mineral oil or cutting board conditioner.
