Kettle Creek Live-Edge Maple Wall Shelf Kit

Our Kettle Creek Maple Wall Shelf features “Ambrosia Maple” named after the Ambrosia Beetle which bores into the “living tree” carrying a fungus and leaving behind a colorful staining – bug trails. These boards are also “Spalted” (squiggly dark lines in the wood) and have imperfections like cracks and knots, all adding to the woods beautiful character.

Included in the kit is our industrial style Arch Shelf Bracket - constructed of heavy ¼” steel – hand forged by our Lancaster County Metalsmith. Our Arch Bracket with its thick steel adds a strong industrial style to any décor. The Kettle Creek Shelf combines industrial with the natural live-edge to achieve a clean simple look – choose black matt brackets for a modern style or the clear-coat bracket for an industrial look.

Item Description:  Solid Pennsylvania Red Maple board sprayed with a clear catalyzed varnish, natural live-edge. Shelf bracket (Arch Shelf Bracket) made of Cold Rolled Steel – mounting holes drilled – bracket measures 7” X 9” and fits 8 and 10” wood shelves. Bracket frames are made from 1/4" x 2.0" flat stock with a 1.5” wide welded steel frame arch. Arch Shelf Bracket is available with a sprayed clear coat or matt black paint.
